Care Packages for Corporal Lappies

The missions committee is once again collecting items to send to Corporal Lappies who is serving his second deployment in Iraq. The following items have been requested beef jerky, tuna in a pouch, coffee, hard candy, gummy bears, power bars, soap, and toiletry items.   Please remember that bulky items are more expensive to ship than compact items. Thank you to all who will donate, or who already have donated!

Food Pantry

After the holidays donations to the Chatham Silent Food Pantry tend to slow down. Paper products, soup and cereals are always in demand. Also consider the pets. Dog and cat food are accepted by the pantry. Of course any non perishable food item is appreciated. Please leave a donation in the basket behind the pew on the left as you walk into the Church.

The food pantry is currently asking for donations of "progresso-type soups, canned stew and chili, jarred or canned spaghetti sauce, rice, mac and cheese, cold cereal, breads, canned potatoes and ramen noodles"
